Air Compression
Air compression massage uses inflatable air cells positioned throughout the massage chair.
These air cells gently inflate and release around selected areas of the body to provide controlled compression during a massage programme.
Depending on the chair, air compression may be available around the shoulders, arms, hands, waist, hips, calves and feet.
More advanced massage chairs combine air compression with roller massage, zero gravity, heating and intelligent body scanning.
The number and location of airbags vary by model, so always compare the actual specification rather than relying on airbag count alone.
